HP Recommended

I plug my printer into a wall socket and the printer display screen shows the printer loading. When it finishes loading the screen stays stuck on the loading screen. The power button does not work. I have tried different wall sockets. Right before this happened there was an ink cartridge error notice. Is this related? What else can I try? Thanks!
