I have a factory sealed HP LaserJet print cartridge 92274a that I am installing on LaserJet 4p.  I have seen many tutorials on replacing cartridge but I remember the last time (20) years ago that I use to pull and orange plastic tab.  I see a clear plastic tab on the right front part of the cartridge - do I pull that straight out?

Thanks All.

Post a picture. Many remanufactured and 3rd party cartridges use a clear strip some use nothing at all.

That sure looks like a toner pull tab.

Yes, pull that plastic piece straight out the end firmly and quickly to release the toner inside. They used to put a plastic orange piece on there to help grab it, but I'm guessing it was cheaper to do without as long as there was enough plastic sticking out to grab.
