Does part number CE400x = CE400YC? (A black toner cartridge with 11000 page yield for M551xh laser printer)

I believe the difference is that the CE400X is a transactional part number to be sold as regular retail and the YC part is only to be sold under a Supplies Metering Contract. Likely you purchased old stock or from a vendor who is defrauding HP.

Thank you for reply and your candor.

I purchased a ce400x on ebay and got the ce400ye sent out in its place. The vendor never intended to deliver the advertised part and claims this is identical. I cannot find anything on a hp website to confirm that it delivers the same yield and I feel like returning it for a refund.

They deliver the same yield.

I spoke with HP who said the opposite....They said that it is only the same as the CE400a (the lower yield) I am now confused. Another vendor on EBAY is also saying it has the lower yield. How can I confirm?
