LaserJet M402dne
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My new LaserJet M402dne doesn't appear to auto duplex, although that appeared to be offered online. The technical specs for the LaserJet M402dne default to all M402's and the dne model doesn't even appear!!

Why is that? and Does it auto duplex like I needed??

@JohnUm

Yes it does support auto duplex printing. Its specs

(Normally d is for duplex, n is for network (wired) and e is for ePrint).

It does not auto-duplex. It requires the user to take each page and re-feed it in through the manual feed tray.

Hello,

As i see you are facing issue with the duplexing issue,

please follow this below steps

1. open the devices and printers in computer

2.  you will see your printer icon

3. right click, select printer properties >select device settings > check if duplexer unit  option is installed.

4. select if not installed, click on installed option and select ok

5. right click , selet printer preferences >select printing shorcuts > check if print on both side is enabled

6. enable print on both side.

7. give a print, it should work

I have tried every step which you write below but still, dual side printing is  not run in Laserjet M402n. Please share details about Hp M402n is it capable to run auto dual side print or not. I'm waiting for your response.

M402n does not have auto duplex function but M402dne does.

M402n's n means net and 402dne's d means duplex.

M402n and M402dne are two diifferent kind function of printer.

Hello,

Ap per the details provided by you, i see that your using  M402N printer and this printer doest have "D" in it, so this is nt a auto duplex printer its only a network printer.
