I just purchased a new iMac (Tahoe 26.2) and I cannot find a driver to properly print from my HP LaserJet P1102w printer. Can anyone help me locate a proper drive? On my old Mac laptop, I had a driver version 6.9, but all I find online is 5.1 (from 2022). Any suggestions?

Hi @rwilson7135,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

As of now, there is no specific information available for driver compatibility of the HP LaserJet P1102w printer with macOS Tahoe 26.2, which seems to be a future release. Typically, driver support is provided for current and recent operating systems.

Here are a few steps you can take to resolve the issue:

HP Support Website: Visit the Official HP® Support and check for the latest driver updates for your printer model. Sometimes newer operating systems might be supported through updates provided later.

AirPrint: Ensure that your HP LaserJet P1102w supports AirPrint, which allows you to print directly without needing a specific driver on macOS. You can do this by going to the "Printers & Scanners" section in the System Preferences and checking if AirPrint can be selected as a driver.

Check for Updates: Regularly check for any macOS updates. HP and Apple might release updates that include printer drivers compatible with new macOS versions.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
