HP LaserJet Pro M203dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer was set up via WiFi and working previously.
Current Problem:
- Setting / Devices / Printers & scanners , add a printer or scanner: Connecting to NPIE96DC4 (HP LaserJet M203dw) " Driver is unavailable"
- on printing with NPIE96DC4(HP LaserJet M203dw) " your printer has experienced an unexpected configuration problem 0x80070709"
- However, printing from Ipad works (so wi-fi is working.
- Both computer and printer are on the same wi-fi network
Had taken the following actions:
1) From Device Manager: DeskTop/ Software Device; Delete device "NPIE96DC4(HP LaserJet M203dw)"
2) From Device Manager: DeskTop/ Printer: delete “unknown device”
3) direct down load of driver software ( a. Full Feature Software and Drivers; b. Basic Drivers) via https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-pro-m203-printer-series/9365400/model/9...
3) HP Print and Scan Doctor & install driver software
4) HP Easy Start & install driver software

- Hooked up USB cable and working from desk top but want to use wi-fi

Hi,

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy and check.

Issue is identified as communication issue. HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.0.6 is unable to solve the "Printer Offline" problem. (however, can print from Ipad with  AirPrint - so printer is on line"

On the step 2 of Scan Doctor, it refer to HP Customer Care, on Printer Offline, it goes for download the Scan Doctor.

Goes in a loop.

So printer still does not print via Wi-Fi
