Can the Laserjet Pro MFP M479fdw be configured for dual tray printing with the purchase of a 2nd tray?  If so, how?

 

Dual tray printing is when the printer is presented with a file that has a mix of page sizes (say letter & legal sizes) it will automatically switch between paper drawers as it cycles through the print job.  It does not require manual interaction by the operator.

Should be no reason it cannot. To test this, load the MP tray with legal, make sure the tray settings are legal and print the document. If it does it through the MP tray it will do it with a second paper drawer.
