Have a Color LaserJet CP3505 with a duplex unit. It worked fine on Windows 7 for years. Upgraded to a Windows 10 computer and now having problems with duplex printing. I set Printer Properties/Device Settings/Duplex Unit to "Installed" and after a few days it will go to "Not Installed".
I am using the PCL6 Class Driver. When the printer was initially set up in Windows 10, "Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use" was checked.
