Hello. In the basic InDesign CS5 printmenu in can't find an option to activate Double Sided Printing.

I need to activate it by using a second printmenu (Printer...) button below and after a yellow warning triangle there is an option to activate Double Side Printing.

Is this the only way to print double sided?

With kind regards Stukadoor

Yes,

You would need to click the Printer... button to access the OS print settings as you describe.

Duplex printing is not available within Adobe's internal print dialogs and the same behavior applies for other Adobe applications auch as Photoshop and Acrobat.

You may save your duplex settings as a preset and look if you may then select a Preset from Adobe's print dialog
