LaserJet Pro MFP M26nw
Does anyone know how to resolve the erratic gaps in my documents? The printer is new and seemed to set up OK first time from the supplied CD. Occasionally it prints perfectly. There are gaps in the Word documents ranging from missing the top or bottom 10% - 90% of the text. It's an old Windows 7 laptop. The same fault is happening when I try to photocopy a document so not using computer software for this. The laptop was printing and photocopying OK from my very old HP M1005 MFP printer which has recently died. Thanks

I would like to assist but maybe a picture will help.Does the machine make any noise's?If it is making noise's it could be a gear that's not turning. It might even be the drum unit.Try to add a photo  so that we can see what seems to be the problem.

Hello Kudos, do you mean a photo of a faulty document? Any noises seemed to sound like normal printer noises to me? This is my 3rd HP printer in only 20 years. What I have also noticed is that there is a much longer delay than normal after pressing "print" to the start of the printing process. However this timing fault is erratic and variable too...initially it printed a test page OK before I tried printing the documents. I've never set up or used a WiFi printer before. I wondered if it could be something to do with the WiFi?? I'm not really that tech savvy!

If the printer is still under Warranty i would contact HP for a repair or replacement of the machine. We have considered all possible problems and do not want to void the warranty by going deeper into the problem technical.Hope this will be a solution for you.

I suggest returning the printer for replacement as this seems to be a hardware problem. Please mark this as a solution to the problem for everyone that might have the same problem.Hope this helps.
