Hi all,
We have a HP Colour Laserjet 3550c printer. This is a network printer. It has been working fine and is now displaying this error.. "10.00.01 supply memory error code" There is not much I can see on the screen to help me. If we open the front panel of the printer and then close it, it may fire up and start printing 1 to 2 pages before stopping again and displaying same error. We have had a look inside and there is a bit of blue ink on the bottom nothing to scream out an error I could be wrong. Would appreciate any help
Thanks

Basically the printer is having trouble reading the memory chip on the Cyan toner cartridge. Once wasy you can get around the issue is to go to the troubleshooting menu and choose the item disable cartridge check and when the printer says ready, diagnostics mode you will be able to print without any errors since the printer will not be checking the toner cartridges. If you turn off the printer then you will have to enter the mode each time you turn on the printer. Of course if you have another Cyan toner you could try it. You could also go to the link below and order another chip and see if it works.
