Hi @mjrko84,

Below are the steps for troubleshooting this error:

30.01.41 or 30.1.41

Symptom:

A 30.01.41 error message is displayed consistently OR intermittently on the HP Easy Select Control Panel of an HP Color LaserJet CM6040 MFP.

Explanation:

A CPB communication error occurred between the formatter and CPB.

Recommended action:

When troubleshooting this issue, it is important to identify the symptom (intermittent or persistent) and apply the correct solution.

Intermittent 30.01.41 errors:

If intermittent 30.01.41 errors are seen on the control panel, the issue could be related to the firmware version.

Go to http://www.hp.com/go/cljCM6040mfp_firmware to update the firmware on the MFP to the following firmware version:

NOTE: Follow the readme file for instructions on how to download the firmware to your device.

Product

Firmware Version

HP Color LaserJet CM6030 / CM6040 MFP

20090909 52.121.2 or higher

  • Persistent (Always present after power cycle) ) 30.01.41 errors:

If consistent 30.01.41 errors are seen on the control panel, which are not resolved by a power cycle of the device, the issue could be related to a hardware problem involving the scanner.

  1. Check the PCIe cable connection between the SCUID PCA at the scanner and the formatter connection.

If necessary, replace the PCIe cable (Q3938-67942).

  1. If the issue persists, replace the memory DIMM on CPB (Q3931-67904).

NOTE: Prior to replacing the DIMM, it can be tested by swapping it with the DIMM on the Formatter board. After swapping, power on the printer and if the display is dark the DIMM is bad. If the display is lit as normal, the CPB DIMM is not bad.

  1. If issue persists, replace the CPB (Q3938-67940).
  2. If issue persists, replace the SCB (CE664-69005).
  3. If error persists, escalate using normal escalation process.

If these workaround are not acceptable for the customer, use the standard troubleshooting procedures for a 49 error. Go to HP Color LaserJet, LaserJet and LaserJet MFP Products - 49 Service Errors (c01558499) to refresh your knowledge of troubleshooting 49 errors if necessary. Please see the Feedback Requested section below for additional information on this issue.

Feedback Requested:

In some circumstances, it appears that this issue may be related to occurrences of the 49.144B error. In addition, some instances of excessive network traffic or storms caused by a faulty or incorrectly configured switch or router may provoke this error. These two circumstances may need to be investigated when troubleshooting this problem.

The following list of questions and actions should also be answered, documented and gathered before escalating this issue to the next level of HP support.

  1. What was the customer doing with the MFP when they noticed the 49 error?
  2. How frequently do they see the error?
  3. Has anyone who uses the device been able to recreate the problem or provide details of what they were doing at the device when the issue occurred?
  4. Which of the following features are used on the device and how frequently are they used (i.e., once a day, many times a day, once a week, etc.)
  5. Fax
  6. Send to E-mail or folder
  7. Digital Sending Software
  8. Copying
  9. Printing
  10. Has the customer seen a 30.1.41 error on the device?
  11. Does the customer recall whether they saw that error just before the device displayed the 49.144b or in what time duration before or after the error?
  12. Was the device in Sleep Mode when the error was noticed?
  13. Is Sleep Mode used?
  14. Are there any known issues with the network including excessive traffic, slow network, or other problems in general that users have noticed?
  15. Has the device been serviced recently and what was done to repair the device?
  16. Gather the following:
  17. Event Log
  18. Configuration Pages
  19. Menu Map
  20. Fax Activity log (if fax is used)

I hope this will help you,

Cheers!

provide information is not more sufficient for resolution for this error . it could be the error of scanner calibration values in service utility, but i am not able to get the correct values of scanner for resolution of this error , if any budy have some suggestion for resolution for that issue pls give me the help.

This error could be nearly anything related to the scanner assembly. It could be even just a dodgy cable connecting the SCB to the formatter. A good method is to follow the CPMD steps and when trying replacing parts, try replacing the easiest ones first or least expensive ones.
