Hello all,

We get the error 59.73.00 quite often and we manage to deal with it by turning off the printer and keep it turned off for a minute or two and turning back on, is there a permanent solution for this error, because when I looked at the possible problems there are quite few. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to HP Support Community, @Orban

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

1. Check Printer Connections
Make sure all cables—power cable, USB/network cable—are firmly connected. Inspect for any loose or damaged wiring.

2. Update the Firmware
Go to the HP Customer Support website and check for the latest firmware for your specific printer model. Install any available updates.

3. Service the Printer
If the error continues even after restarting and verifying the connections, the printer may require internal servicing. Contact HP Support or a certified technician.

4. Consider a Maintenance Kit
If the printer has been used heavily or for a long time, worn parts may trigger errors. In that case, installing a maintenance kit could help.

5. Refer to the User Manual
Your printer’s manual may contain model-specific troubleshooting steps for the error code you are encountering. It’s worth checking.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
