Thank you for your cooperation. Judging from the problem description, the issue may be related to the printer driver language.
Since the PS printing language offers better compatibility with PDF files,
you may install the PS driver and test printing again. Thank you.

I installed the 64-bit version (which took a long time). Unfortunately, it did not make my printer work.

 

Note that, before I downloaded this, I've been encountering a different problem. Error 79 no longer pops up. Instead, the printer does nor respond at all. It does not even print a test page.

All cables are securely plugged in.
