Hey there,

since today i got the error code 55.1 on my device.

I already tried the hard reset which i read in another topic where the problem was solved by this method but unfortunately it didn't work for me.

I changed nothing on my hard- or software, the code just appeared.

I really hope you can help me, i need the printer since i'm in home office right now like a bunch of other people, too.

HP support documents state that you should perform an NVRAM reset and if that does not resolve the problem then the DC controller will need to be replaced.

If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution easier by marking my post as an accepted solution. Clicking "yes" on "was this reply helpful" also increases the chances that this solution will help others.

Many thanks for the tip. The NVRAM reset wasn't successful so that I have to change the DC-controller now.

Best regards

Joachim
