I also have the cp1025 (nw) printer which has the same "stopped filter failed" message, but when I go to the add printer window it does not offer AirPrint as an option.  It has automatically loaded HP Laser Jet CP1025nw, 2.0.20120620.  And I still can't print.  Thank you in advance for assistance with this problem

Hi.  My operating system is mojave 10.14.2.  the filter failed message comes in this window.  The utility has strangely created two printers out of one-one printer has "2" appended to name  (this had happened in the past as well, but didn't prevent me from printing).  I hope this will be helpful.  Thanks Jim
