Hello @4321Done, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP Officejet 8025 printer.

We appreciate the opportunity to assist you and are glad we could help work toward a resolution. We hope our support has been valuable.

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please try a few troubleshooting steps provided below so that I can assist you further?

  1. Check which printhead caused the error on the printer display or control panel.
  2. Make sure the ink tanks/cartridges are properly installed and paper is loaded.
  3. Open the ink access door and wait until the carriage stops.
  4. Make sure the printhead cover is closed. If open, close it and try printing again.
  5. Open the printhead cover, remove the affected printhead, and check that any protective plugs or tape were removed.
  6. Clean only the electrical contacts on the printhead and inside the printer with a dry, lint-free cloth or dry swab.
  7. Reinsert the printhead until it snaps into place, then close the cover and ink access door.
  8. Align the printheads by following the printer prompts or alignment page instructions.
  9. If the error continues, reset the printer:
    1. Turn off the printer.
    2. Unplug the power cord from the printer and wall outlet.
    3. Wait 60 seconds.
    4. Plug it directly into a wall outlet and reconnect to the printer.
    5. Turn the printer back on.

Event code 62.80.A0 for an HP printer indicates a paper jam or obstruction in the printer. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Open all access points and remove any paper or objects causing the jam.
  3. Check for any torn pieces of paper or debris and remove them.
  4. Reassemble the printer and plug it back in.
  5. Turn on the printer and try printing again.
