We recently changed the toner in this printer and then today getting this BAD-LOCID-4485 error message. It flashes from that to the date and then back to the error message. Tried turning it off and restarting and still same thing. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Just had this happen to me, exact error message.
TO RESOLVE it
- Print a config page
- Cold reset the printer (Shut down printer, hold down green button or Check mark button, turn on printer while holding green button, when memory count appears let go of the button, use up or down arrow buttons to find and select cold reset and select check mark button)
- reconfigure the printer from the config page
The internal clock probably reset, if so, you will have to set time and date on the printer. It is possible the battery is dead so keep the printer powered on at all times, if it get's turned off same error might appear again
