Any solutions on how to fix errors on HP Deskjet 2540?
All lights flashing on side and my computer doesnt pick up the printer through USB or wireless.
I downloaded the latest driver but that still doenst work.
Anything else i could try?

I understand that you are facing an issue with your printer where all the lights are flashing, is that right?
Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
Are you using genuine HP ink?
Have you tried to restart the printer without the ink and check if the printer lights still blink?
Are you the lights blinking in a particular order?
Found this HP Article with the troubleshooting steps when the lights are flashing on your printer.
Please try the steps based on the sequence in which the lights are flashing on your printer.
Let me know how it goes.

All lights are blinking together with E flashing in the window!
I am using genuine HP ink.
When setting up now, the computer doesnt seem to pick up the printer.
Any suggestions on this?
I have connected the printer to the router but it still doesnt show up!

I'm the Riddle_Decipher & I'm at your service.
I appreciate the details and here's what you need to do:
Cause:
The printer is in an error state.
Solution:
Step one: Reset the printer
-
Press the Power button (
) to turn on the product.
-
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
-
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
-
Wait at least 15 seconds.
-
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
-
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button (
) to turn it on.
-
If these steps resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
-
If the issue persists, continue to the next solution.
Step two: Plug the printer directly into an electrical outlet
Plug the product directly into an electrical outlet to make sure that the power source functions correctly.

Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
-
Unplug the power cord from any power strips or surge suppressors.
-
Plug the power cord directly into an electrical outlet.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
-
Press the Power button (
) to turn on the product.
-
Try the task again.
If the issue persists, try a different electrical outlet.
-
If these steps resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, continue to the next solution.
Step three: Service the printer by Contacting HP:
HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/?openCLC=true
(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.
(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.
(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get the phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
They will be happy to assist you immediately.
If the unit is under warranty repair services under the manufacturer's warranty will be free of charge.
