54.XX ERROR An error has occurred with one of the tonerlevel
sensors.
XX Description:
15 Yellow
16 Magenta
17 Cyan
18 Black
1. Make sure that connector J1020 on
the DC controller is seated correctly.
2. Replace the DC controller.

 

If the printer will not print, go to the diagnostics menu and choose the item disable cartridge check and select. When the printer says ready, diagnostics mode you should be able to print. Printer must stay on at all times in this mode or you will have to enter the mode each time the printer is turned on. I would also try another cyan toner just in case the one you have has issues.
