Hi everyone

 

I need reset factory for my printer HP Laserjet  Pro MFP M225dw, I don't have the admin pwd, pls your help,  I need the steps for do that as soon as possible.

I understand you need to know how to perform a factory reset your printer.

 

Don't worry I'd like to help you out.

 

Please try the steps recommended below to perform a factory reset your printer.

 

1. On the product control panel, press or touch the Setup button.
2. Open the Service menu.
3. Select the Restore Defaults option, and then press or touch the OK button.
The product automatically restarts.

 

 

Refer the printer user manual for more information.

 

Note: Refer page 92.

Hi team,

 

I think I don't explained very well the request, currently I don't  have  the  Administrator Password (all options are blocked with this pwd)  then I can't use the procedure that you send me, I need reset the printer to the factory state.


Could you please send me the correct procedure.

As you mentioned you need to know how to perform NVRAM reset on your printer.

1. Product Name and Number (please do not post Serial Number)
• Example: HP Pavilion DV2-1209AX or HP Deskjet 3000 Printer CH393A
2. Operating System installed (if applicable)
• Example: Windows XP, Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows 7 64-bit
3. Error message (if any)
• Example: ""Low disk space"" error in Windows
4. Any changes made to your system before the issue occurred
• Examples: Upgrading your Operating System or installing a new software; or installing new hardware like a printer, modem, or router.
