Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP254DW it printed on paper and heavy card all day without issue. However I thin printed 6 sheets of label paper. After that I had a repeated issue where the printer would not pick up the paper or card it had previously been happy with. What can I do?

Check to see
1. if the pick-up roller is turning....

2. if there's anything blocked in the path way

The pickup roller appears to be turning, as it will print after 3-4 attempts. There is nothing blocking

If the roller turns but does not grab paper then likely you need to clean the roller, or the surface of the label paper is too slippery for reliable feeding. Are you refeeding sheets that have some labels removed? If you are using partial sheets the recommended method is to print labels so that the bottom labels are used first. If you print the top labels first then the pickup roller will slip on the surface and you will also get print defects as the slippery surface can lead to toner smears.

The printer worked with paper, Then it worked with labels. However after switching back to paper the issue occurred.

I was printing complete sheets of labels. Is it possible that the label paper had some kind of film which go onto the rollers?

What is the best way to clean the roller, I can see two rollers at the back in the center, are there more?
