I need to reset the password on this printer.  I configured this printer to have a password and thought I had it saved. I need to reset this printer back to default settings and join it to a different wifi SSID. Due to not remembering the password, I can no longer make any changes to this printer via the webpage for the printer or on the touchscreen. It keeps asking me for a password to change everything.

Thanks for any help.

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!

It sounds like you have an administrator lock enabled on your printer. I believe the only way to remove an administrator lock is by performing a full reset and re-initializing the printer. The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've send you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
