I need to get a refurbished replacement formatter board for an M609. Do all of the submodels(M609n, dn, x) use the same board? Looking at online resources, I get conflicting information. Some sites say the dn & n submodels use one model of board(K0Q14-60002) while the M609x use the K0Q14-60001.

HP Service manuals clearly state that you cannot remove a formatter from one device and install in another so you are on your own if you are going to try a used part. The 609X uses K0Q14-60001

Check the HP Parts Store. They should have it but have not checked there myself.

Yes, the HP Parts Store does have it. Now I have another issue. I can't get one of the power connectors unplugged from the old board so I can replace it with the new one.
Anybody have any suggestions how to remove the plug in the bottom left of the formatter board? It doesn't have any part of it sticking up higher than the white connector on the board, so it doesn't seem to have a way to grab it to pull it out.
