Fuser Error HP Laserjet 4250

Good Evening, 

We have been figinting with this all day.  I have an HP Laserjet 4250 I keep getting an error 50.5 display on the printer.  I had a error 50.1 earlier today and purchased nother fuser assembly and now were getting the 50.5 error.  

 Any suggestions is greatly appreicated.

Hello PRLAX, 

You said y ou epleaced fuser assmelby with a new one and now you are getting the  50.5 error?

From the service manual.  The error 50.5 refers to an incorrect fuser.  Like you have an HP Laserjet 4.300 fuser installed on an HP Laserjet 4250.  These two fuser models are not compatible.

I would verify the part number on fuser assembly or have the vendor send you replacement.  I'm almost certain the fuser was packaged incorrectly.

Thank you for all your help. 

I went down to the local printer repair guy and bought another fuser assembly.  After installing the new fuser printer went to a ready state.  I will ship back the incorrect fuser back to the vendor for a refund.
