Brand new out of the box M608 printer.  Test page gets stuck everytime halfway out of the fuser.  It appears to be sending the page into the rollers on top instead of the bottom main rollers.  Help!

you could try reseating the fuser assembly but sounds like its defective.  i'd contact hp support and get a warranty replacement for either the part or the unit itself

Do you get an error message? Does the actual paper installed and the paper size the printer thinks it has installed in the tray match? We have had out of box issues where one of the nylon slides that sets paper size was not seated properly and would cause an error. Try printing from the manual try to isolate between a fuser issue and a tray size issue. Post back any error messages you might be seeing on the screen.

Hello,

In addition to the above, I would advise you to check the flap after the fuser that is guiding the paper to either the normal output route or the duplex route. That flap can be out of position or damaged.

I hope this may help,

Cheers!
