Have been using this printer for over a year with no problems replacing toner cartridges. It was purchased in Germany and I use it in Germany. I have never used third party cartridges...ONLY HP cartridges bought here in Germany.
For some reason when I replaced my yellow cartridge (HP brand only), I get the error message, "Incompatible Yellow Cartridge" even though I bought this at Media Markt in Germany, the same store I bought the printer from. Thinking it was a bad cartridge, I just went and bought another one from Media Markt. I get the same message.
I have gone through every website and tried to follow all the directions and it just doesn't work. The printer will not print. My business has come to a screeching halt.
Does anyone know why I am getting this message and what I can do about it when I am following all the rules (using HP cartridges, using cartridges for the country I bought the printer in, etc.)? Is there a way I can reset mt printer to solve this problem.

Thank you for stopping by the HP support forums and a good day to you. I have reviewed the case and will gladly assist you. splendid troubleshooting and great description of the issue. Kudos to you for that.
- Was there a power outage or surge in the recent past?
It looks like a hardware issue as 2 toners are not working. Let's try these steps please:
- From this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-color-laserjet-pro-mfp-m277-series/7089945/model/7089949/doc... reset the printer first by following instructions from the section "Step 5: Reset the printer"
- Then update the printer’s firmware by following instructions from this link: https://support.hp.com/bg-en/document/c02919168
- Use a USB cable to update the printer’s firmware connecting it to a computer.
Now check for issue resolution. Also, follow instructions from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-color-laserjet-pro-mfp-m277-series/7089945/model/7089949/doc... (HP Color LaserJet Pro - "Incompatible <color> supply" displayed on the control panel) if it has not been done by you yet. If you've done it ignore these steps.
If the issue continues, then the printer needs to be replaced. as 2 toners cannot go bad. I will send you a private message to assist you with the next course of action. Check your forum private message box in the upper right corner next to the bell icon.
Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂

None of the solutions you gave me worked. You said the following..."If the issue continues, then the printer needs to be replaced. as 2 toners cannot go bad. I will send you a private message to assist you with the next course of action."
What must I do now to replace the printer?
