Product: Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M4777fnw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M4777fnw continues to produce ghost images. I have installed brand new cartridges and followed all the steps recommended in Youtube in order to fix the problem. Considering that fixing this 3-year-old printer (mine is three years old) might not be a best idea, should I buy a new printer?

In most cases ghosting is caused by a failed fuser unit, the device that melts toner on the page. If replacing with an oem fuser I would be hard pressed to recommend, but if you use a refurbished one it might be worth it. Be sure that you firmware is up to date and make sure that the separate DC controller update you will find in posts here is applied.
