I am having issues with Global Coverage of Printer under Warranty. If someone from HP is can address the issue I can share details of my correspondance with HP SG. For your ready reference the details of my case can be seen from support ticket no. [edited].

A global warranty might sound good, but it doesn't work that way.

 

If you buy an HP product in country A and you move to country B and in country B your product is not sold ( not intended for the sales market of country B ) , you will not be able to claim your warranty.

Thank you for your reply. Please note that the product is marketed in both UAE as well as Pakistan by HP and the caveat you mentioned is not applicable to this particular printer.

UAE is EMEA sales region and Pakistan is Asia-Pacific sales region.  Good luck with global warranty, be persistent.
