When I try to print a 6.4mb pdf file on my HP2300, I get an error “20 Insufficient Memory”.  The printer has 32mb of storage, so it should print.  I have done a cold reset and it did not solve the problem.

A 6.4 MB PDF can require more memory to print depending on how you send the job. Check your driver for the option to print the job as an image as this will often resolve the issue. Otherwise, you might want to upgrade the memory on the printer.

I get the same problem when I try to print a 2.4MB jpg file.  I'm using a Mac with the latest operating system (Catalina).

Thanks for the help.

It may be that your printer's memory is being used by other things like saved fonts or is allocated to other uses instead of prints. Try resetting the printer back to factory defaults to reset the memory allocations and try again.

Thanks, but I’ve done two “Cold Resets” and the problem remains.  I’ve managed to get to print larger PDFs but it is unable to print a 2.5mb jpeg file.
