How to know current run time and runtime left status on HP 254DW Fuser Unite.

The low-end laser printers don't have runtime and left status. If properly used the fuser on them is manufactured to last longer than a printer.

The first answer is correct, low end printers do not monitor this. In any case, fusers are rated for # of pages, not time on. There are many factors that will affect fuser life. Always printing single page jobs will reduce expected output as the number of rotations to produce a single pages is almost as many as to print a 5 page document. Types of media will also affect life, heavier, rougher papers require more heat to bond toner and more heat means reduced life. When we have clients that ask this questions our typical response is to expect a maximum life span of 100K pages from the fuser unit, this is based on our field experience and is not an official HP number.  In normal circumstances you will likely have feed issues from worn rollers long before you will have a fuser fail.
