I know its an old printer, but id=s there a work around on Syntax error due to old drivers?

You need to provide better details. Operating system you are using, what driver you are currently trying to use? Do you get an error when printing any files or just from certain programs?

I have tried different computers, Windows 10, Mac 10.14 . I will have to work on it again to get the driver info. But usually used the latest available drivers. It's kinda hit and miss, Sometimes it works sometimes you get an error.
