I have a HP 3055 All In One Laserjet printer that has been running perfectly for years.  Recently the printing became extremely faded to the point it is unreadable.  Initially, I thought it was the toner cartridge which I swapped out.  But the issue remained.  I used canned air on the printer but was doubtful.  My guess is that is the fuser but since that is not a CRU and not available via HP I am thinking a  new printer maybe in order.  But I would really find a resolution since I really like this printer and it has a new toner cartridge.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Can you post a sample? A fuser will rarely cause faded print on one side, fusers typically cause lack of bonding or lumpy lines where toner gets lifted and reapplied.  Cartridge, transfer roller or dirt on the laser scanner are the most common causes of faded print.

If you have tried another new cartridge and have the same issue I would look to the transfer roller as a possible cause or a failing high voltage power supply. The transfer roller is the padded roller located under the toner cartridge.
