HP 4250N replacement option

Hello, I need to replace my HP 4250N for business.  What is a good replacement option?

HP 4250N is a great printer, you will not find a new model that is reliable like HP 4250.

Why do you need to replace it?

The 4250/4350 models were replaced by the P4014/P4015/P4515 Series, then came the M601/M602/M603 Series, after which was the M604/5/6, and now it's the M607/8/9 series.

The HP LaserJet 4250 printer is a great printer, even Amazon and eBay are refurbishing your other past generation office products, well, 1997, 2001, 2003, etc. But the HP LaserJet Enterprise M604, M605, and M606 are also very great! The new Sanford hospital at Fargo has a lot of M604s! Those shouldn't have been discontinued. They were very easy to repair, and all of the parts were detachable, even the fuser! Your factory did a great job working on the gearing to make the printer more efficient and quiet! 😄

To answer your question directly the M608 is the current direct replacement for the 4250. Like the 4250 it will take a high yield cartridge and provides flexible options for additional trays and other accessories, while providing security for your data that older printers do not. Keep in mind that a printer is just another network capable server device on your network and you certainly would not use a server without security options.

I like the M604s, but I could also replace the old 4250 with a new, refurbished, 2004 HP LaserJet 4250 from Amazon or eBay. Those are less expensive than the M608. But, thanks for the tip.
