My HP 4350 Printer was printing fine, but ran out of toner.
I ordered a HP Toner Cartridge & received a Non-HP Toner Cartridge, which my HP printer display
said "NON HP Toner Cartridge"
My husband downloaded the latest firmware for the HP 4350 and installed it.
Now I get a paper jam physically, as the paper arrives into printer from lower paper tray,
when I use the "NON HP Toner or HP Toner" Cartridge.
(Printer was NOT jamming paper previously)
What steps should I do to fix the printer?
Can I downgrade OR reverse the installed firmware in a HP 4350 Printer,
so that I will be on the previously installed firmware?
If yes, what are the steps?
If not, PLEASE advise how I can fix this printer.

Hi,
This is likely not related to the printer firmware, Non-HP cartridges can cause paper jams. If you have non-HP toner cartridges installed, install genuine HP toner cartridges.
If this is an HP cartridge, it may be faulty, I suggest contacting the retailer to claim its warranty, the retailer may send a defective cartridge to HP to be inspected and replaced when needed.
You may also attach a printer of the toner, any HP cartridge have clear identification marks.

If you still have the empty toner, install it and run a test. (edit I missed this when reading your first post) As @ShlomiL states, a firmware update is unlikely to cause a jam issue to suddenly appear. The Non-HP toner message is a clearable error by the way? HP does not block use of 3rd party toner in this product but forces this message to display to ensure that customers are not being sold a non-OEM cartridge as a OEM cartridge. It is possible to install an older version of firmware but it is not recommended as this can result in errors if a component such as the DC controller was updated by the firmware, as changes to the DC controller are not rolled back by downgrading the firmware and you can wind up with a version mis-match which may make your printer into an expensive door stop.
What you may want to check is that you have accidently knocked the transfer roller that sits under the toner cartridge out of place or that the registration shutter is not sticking. Based on the age of the printer, you could be having problems due to sticking pickup solenoids as well. This will typically show as one page jammed under the cartridge and another page being pullled out of the tray.
