I have an HP 600 m601 that frequently, but not always, leaves a toner "blotch" on the right side of the paper (either at the top or middle). Please help!! It's an older machine but really works great until this problem occurred.

A randomly placed blotch is typically going to be a cartridge issue. Can you post a sample?

Good Morning, Repairatrooper,

Thanks for your response!

I attached 3 samples of the blotches I'm experiencing on a reply to your email response. I don't know how to post attachments on the community. Is that necessary? If so, can you tell me how I do it?

Thanks again for your help!

Any email you would have received would only be a notification from the system and not from me directly. Replying to that email would not update anything and likley a mailbox that does not receive messages.

See image below on how to attach samples.

Good Afternoon, Repairatrooper

I tried to upload the samples of my printing problem following your instructions but I couldn't find the icon you pictured to  drag or to otherwise retrieve the file. Where do I go to locate the actual location to send you the document? Sorry for the confusion.

If you reply to Repairatroopers post the attach icon/field should be below the box you type the reply into.

If my post resolves your issue please click the accepted as solution button under it.

Hi SH

I followed your instructions and replied to Repairatrooper's post, but I still didn't get the attach icon/field below to send him the samples. I'm at a loss for what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks for your response!

After I posted I had a dim recollection and I think you have to be at a higher level to attach pictures and send/receive PMs, (Private Messages).

I was going to send you a PM, but didn't see a link to use.
