CM1415
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a CM1415 printer that connects to my Centurylink router wirelessly without issues. I just received a TMobile router and try to connect via the Wireless setup wizard and it finds the router but won't accept the password. The password is a 12 digits all numbers. Is that too long for the printer. I cannot change the password. All other devices (2 phones DVD and TV connect no issue).

A first step is to ensure that your firmware is up to date as changes to network standards are often updated on the printer this way. Print the configuration page for the printer and compare the date code with the firmware listed on the HP Support page.   Support.HP.com

Updated firmware from 2013/10/28 to current 2014/06/16 updated all drivers same result as before invalid passcode. Ran HP tools no problem found.

Are you choosing the correct security encryption protocol for the passcode?
