Does anybody know how to check the toner level on an HP Color Laser MFP M277?
The manual for this printer indicates the information is available on the supplies report accessible from the printer control panel or from the HP Utility software. I've checked both of these locations and see ink level information but not toner level. Pictures below of the supply page and the software report.

After talking to a friend who knows more than me about printers, it sounds like Lasjet printers do not have "ink" and "toner" they just have toner, and therefore the color cartridges mentioned on the supplies report are "toner cartridges". Can anyone confirm this? Please excuse my ignorance! Thank you.

You’ve done an excellent job of diagnosing the issue from your end. Superb effort and spectacular research were done as well. Kudos to you on that score. 🙂 I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you.
For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:
- Did you completely refer to the user guide of the printer?
For now, let me keep you posted about a few things:

- This is absolutely true. They don’t have ink like inkjet cartridges.
- Please refer to the user guide link: http://hp.care/2fIPi2U and refer to pages 118-120 for more information regarding this. (Check toner-cartridge status)
