Hi

How do I set up scan to email?
I can't find anything about this, and there is no menu that allows you to enter email.

I Understand your concern , don’t worry let me help you with this. 

 

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

 

01.Install HP Smart or Full Software

The printer requires HP Smart or the full driver package to enable scan-to-PC features.

Download and install HP Smart or the full driver suite from HP’s support website

Ensure the software is installed on the PC you want to scan to

 

02.Check Network Connection

The printer must be on the same network as your PC for scanning to work.

Verify the printer is connected to Wi-Fi or Ethernet

Confirm your PC is on the same network

 

03.Use HP Scan Utility

Scan-to-PC is usually managed through HP Scan software rather than directly on the printer.

Open HP Scan from your PC

Select your printer

Choose Scan to Computer and configure destination folders

 

04.Scan to Email Setup

This model often requires using HP Smart on your PC for email scanning, rather than entering email directly on the printer.

Open HP Smart

Select Scan → Share → Email

Enter recipient email address in the app

The printer itself does not store email addresses
