None of the other M477 on the same network are having any issues. If I unplug the Ethernet and plug back in , it will work a couple of times, then back to this. I have reset the NVRAM. Reset to defaults. The problem persists. Any thoughts ?

First, Double check and compare your printer's network and email configuration settings with one of your working printers to make sure they are set correctly. Next, try a different network cable and/or network port to help rule out cabling/port issues.

I have double and triple checked all settings. they are identical to a few other m477's on the network. I have also tried different ports on the switch. I will try a different Ethernet cable and see how that works.

no go on the cable swap, same issue.

Is the firmware version on this printer the same as your other printers?
