Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have a HP Color LaserJet MFP M480, and it takes forever to print, anywhere from thirty seconds to twenty minutes. I have followed all the online recommendations for the fix and nothing works.

I have done the following:
1. Reset to factory

2. Changed print quality

3. This is a ethernet connection with specific IP address (Network sees printer no problem).

4. Updated to latest firmware (2510156_069171)

5. Deleted all pending jobs and unplugged printer for sixty seconds.

Only specific I can not find on this unit is being able to turn off quiet mode. Not sure this unit has that feature.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you JR

Check your driver, this type of slow printing is very commonly caused by the use of Microsoft IPP or class drivers. Best performance would come from using either the HP driver designed for your model or using the HP Universal Printer Driver or Smart Universal Printer Driver.
