You are looking for something like the plastic finger I circled in the picture, what is circled is probably not the sensor/switch you are looking for, but it would be similar.

 

The other end of the finger is a flag that moves in and out of an optical sensor.

Thanks, but that's not S665. It is SR662-SR664. Both of these fingers looks ok.

I found these error codes in the admin console via the event log.

It is likely not the flag that is broken it is the optical sensor itself that has failed. Sadly these consumer level products do not have extensive diagnostics built in. About the only way to test sensor is to replace them. The only real way to obtain them is to harvest them from another device.
