HP Digital Fax not installing with software package

Hello.

I'm trying to set up HP Digital Fax (that feature where the HP printer/fax receives a fax and, instead of printing it, it sends it to an email).

I've searched up a ton of guides, all point to just installing the software package from 123.hp.com. I did that, but it doesn't install HP Digital Fax (or any wizard to set it up). It also doesn't install Printer Assistant nor Solution Center.

Some other guide pointed to running HP ToolboxFX but it doesn't launch (the shortcut that gets created can't find the program).

I've been running these installers as admin.

I also downloaded and installed (uninstalling the other software package and reboots in between) the software package directly from this specific printer's drivers page but that one also doesn't install any of the software required to get this Digital Fax set up.

I've done a lot of googling and can't find anything. Tried chatting with the HP bot but it just points me to guides I've already gone through.

The product specs for this product do not show support for digital fax, so it is either an undocumented feature or it does not support digital fax. Looking it up, it appears it does support receiving fax to a PC. Only one PC however not to an email address. You can find details in the user manual you can download from support.hp.com

I see. Thank you for the response... that explains some stuff.

According to our client, another user had this functionality using this same fax/printer. Would you know of another way I could set this up without using the Digital Fax wizard?
