HP LASERJET PRO M102W printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I need help.

On my HP LASERJET PRO M102W printer the Ready LED light is blinking. When I connect this printer to my computer, it's not discovred. After going through the Printer Manual and digging much of the help on HP website and forum, I found it's because the printer is still trying to cancel or print the previous job. Which could have been resulted due to power interruption during printing.

I tried every possible mean to cancel the job, but it didn't help. I even followed all the steps provided in troubleshooting help by restarting the Printer Spooler, disconnecting cable, restarting printer with pressing the Ready LED button, etc. I even tried HP Doctor, which didn't even find my printer. I think the printer is non-discoverable until the pending job is either purged/cancelled or completed.

I wanted help to cancel this struck job or bring the printer to FACTORY RESET.

@ShariqHanfi

Peace be unto you! 🙂

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand you need help resetting the printer as all other steps you've attempted to resolve the issue didn't work out,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Did you check what the blinking light represents?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to know:

The following sections describe error conditions with blinking (flashing) lights displayed on the control panel, followed by solutions for each error. Find the blinking light pattern that displays on the control panel, and then follow the steps to resolve the issue.

FOR DETAILS & FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS, USE THIS LINK: http://hp.care/2pvpIiQ

(By the end of this article all the issues should be resolved)

If you've already attempted the steps suggested within the above article and yet the issue persists,

I'm sending out a Private message with the information you need

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile

Hello:

First of all thank you for reply.

From the list you send only light 3 which is READY light is blinking (flashing).

I don’t see any option where only Light 3 which is 3rd from the top and looks like partial O is blinking.

Let me know how to resolve this problem?

I have this same issue.  I tried the steps identified in the link but there was no choice for the Ready light alone blinking.  So still have the issue.  Can you tell me how the others resolved this.

Hi @TURBOA10

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Appreciate you trying the steps. I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
