HP LJ 4200/4300 PCL 6 Driver is built in windows 7 & 10 see screen shot, morover you can use HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 from same link & if it is not working then remove old driver manualy & restart the pc the reinstall driver.
Here is a way how to remove a driver
Please note, if you're going to connect the printer via USB, then do not connect it initially. Begin the installation first and later there will be a prompt to connect the printer. That's when you may connect the printer.
Now let's try these steps here to uninstall the printer drivers and then reinstall the drivers using this method.
I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
- Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor software. This is a free tool for Windows to help resolve issues with the printer drivers.
- First, unplug the USB cable from the printer if present.
- Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP LaserJet printer entries and uninstall them.
- Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
- Press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" (There is a space between .exe & /) and press enter.
- Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
- Again, go to the Run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
- Restart your computer.

Hi,
Thanks.
But i need the actual HP LJ 4200/4300 PCL 6 Driver - W10 64 bit (1809) or a HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 or not working on my Windows 10 64 bit - 1809 version.
I do not see HP LJ 4200/4300 PCL 6 in the list on W10 -1809.
