HP Laser Jet 1300 Printing Blank PDFs

A few months ago, my trusty printer started printing PDF files as blank pages.  The printer  also fails to print the border for tables created in Word.  Finally, the printer fails to print the dollar amount (numbers only) on Quicken checks.  Something happened and casued all of these problems.

I have my laptop hooked up to two printers - these problems aren't effecting a Samsung printer at all.

I have deleted and added the printer many times to no avail.

I have tried printing with the "print as an image" button checked - no luck.

I have shecked for updates to Windows - totally updated.

I have checked for updates to Adobe Acrobat DC and Acrobat Reader - totally updated

I love this simple printer.  I can't figure out what happened.  Any help is appreciated.

HP LaserJet 1300 has three kind of drivers which are PCL6 PCL5 & PS, you can try each one them to see if helps or not.

You can try to use HP LaserJet 1200's drivers too they can work for each other.

One of my friends uses HP laserJet 2200 PS  for his HP 1300 just because his computer doesn't connect to internet and it works fine too.
