Hi @LexusW7

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

If you're trying to reinstall your HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw printer and driver, try the following.

Remove the Existing Printer

  • Disconnect the USB cable (if connected).
  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select HP LaserJet M234sdw and click Remove device.
  • Open Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall any HP printer software. This helps prevent driver conflicts.

Restart the Computer

Restart Windows before installing the printer again.

Download the Latest HP Software

HP recommends installing the HP App or the latest driver package for the M234sdw to complete setup and driver installation.

Driver page: software and drivers download.

Reinstall the Printer

  • Turn on the printer.
  • Connect it via USB or ensure it is connected to the same Wi‑Fi network as your PC.
  • Run the HP installer or HP Smart app and follow the setup wizard.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
