I just replace laser jet ink cartridges and when I try to print through my laptop, printer is not getting signal

is there any error message of printer screen?

check your connectivity cable

uninstall and reinstall the printer driver

I just get message the download has taken too long and to shut down and try again.  

I have done this twice.
