The printer continously reads "Rear Door Open" on the screen, even though the Rear Door is closed?

I can not get anything to print as I can not get passed this message. I have tried the usual shut dow, disconnect and even restore default settings. I have opened the rear door and looked for obstructions but it appears to close just fine. Is there anything I can do to get this "Rear Door Open" error to go away??

Hi EfrenJ,

I am afraid that your printer needs to be serviced by a printer technician. The door switch is either faulty or has been moved out of the correct position (probably the second).

Where can I get technical support. Contacted HP but was told they could/would not help me.

It depends where you live. Search the web for any HP certified repairers or partners near your area.

Hello Sir

Sorry For the Inconvinence

Please Try To Remove the Duplexer and open the Rear Door , Once the Door is Open Please Check the Door lock is Broken Or not . Or else You can Take a Paper , roll it and Try To Activate the Door Sensor (The Door Sensor will the same One in Which the Door Lock Gets Seated ) and check If the Message is Same Or Not .

If Yes Then Need To Check with a Hp Technician
