Hello HP Community,

We recently procured two units of HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4103fdn for our office, and both are exhibiting similar issues from the first few weeks of use. The devices are running firmware version LOCHSAXXXN002.2527B.00 and all settings are currently at factory default.

Issues Observed:
Blank pages printing intermittently – sometimes between normal print jobs or in the middle of a multi-page print.

Printer freezes or becomes unresponsive after a few print jobs, and we must restart the device to restore normal operation.

ADF occasionally double-feeds (scanner picks two pages together) during scanning or copying.

Event Log Findings:
We extracted the printer event logs and noticed recurring patterns of the following error codes even when no visible jams are present:

13.xx.xx series (Paper Jam) – mostly 13.03.01, 13.09.04, 13.09.14

31.xx.xx series (Original Jam / Mispick) – 31.13.01 and 31.13.02

10.00.10 (Black supply memory missing) – appears occasionally

76.00.24 (Unknown) – once observed after restart

These errors repeat across both printers and correlate roughly with the times the blank pages or freeze events occur.

Troubleshooting Already Performed:
Verified no paper or debris in the feed, registration, or fuser areas.

Updated printer firmware and performed power/network reset.

Despite all this, the issues persist and are consistent on both new units.

Questions for HP Experts / Community:
Has anyone experienced similar issues on HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4103fdn with firmware LOCHSAXXXN002.2527B.00?

Is there any known firmware update (e.g., 2528A or newer) addressing false jam events, blank page printing, or ADF feed calibration issues?

Could this be related to a formatter board or sensor calibration defect?

Are there any hidden service or diagnostic tests to check sensor health and ADF calibration status?

Connection: Wired Ethernet (static IP)

Quantity: 2 printers, both showing same behavior
